Ewa sees Yoga practice as Art, Philosophy and Science. She personally follows the dictum that to be a teacher, one must first be a student. Every single day, situation and student can be the greatest lesson, just stay open to it, be aware of it – practice gratefulness. Passionate, patient but efficient methods of daily practice and study brought her to deepr understanding of what ashtanga method is all about. With greatest pleasure she will share her experience, love and trust to the Ashtanga method. Her teachings are passionate, honest, pure and challenging with a doze of humor with the purpose to nourish, enhance and regenerate the body, bring stillness to the mind and balance overall personal development. Ewa’s hands-on adjustments are gentle but efficient, often will bring students to the edge of their comfort zone which is always done with compassion, love and good will based on understanding needs and abilities of an each individual. Everyone has limitations that can be helped with daily diligent practice that’s why Ewa always holds space for her students and never leave anyone behind. Emphasis in her teaching is on proper alignment and unbroken flow of prana in the body while yoga philosophy is incorporated. She works with great respect for parampara and planning in the nearest future go study with Sharat in KPJAYI.
Ewa’s yoga journey began with Iyengar Yoga in 2000, studying with Geeta Iyengar in 2002. Afterwhich she discovered Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and studied under Authorized Level II Teacher Basia Lipska, from whom she received permition to teach in 2007. Further studies brought her to Mysore to study with BNS Iyengar in 2012, and in the same year studied intensively with Kamal Singh in Rishikesh. Other Authorized teachers Ewa has studied with are: Tim Feldman, Petri Reisenen, Noah McKenna, Ajay Tokas, and Certified Teacher Kino MacGregor. Over the years 2013 – 2015 Ewa was student and assistant of Bela Lipat, Authorized Level I KPJAYI during the Mysore Program, Workshops and Teacher Trainings in the Netherlands.
Since 2013 works as a Yoga Teacher& Therapist for Codarts – Art, Dance, Circus Academy in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Ewa runs Mysore Program at Yoga Maya Rotterdam, The Netherlands and most recently in Orion, Kho Phangan Thailand. Part of her daily routine is Vipassana meditation and vast healing practices.
With a Master Degree in Physical Education from the Academy of Physical Education in Katowice, Poland, Ewa developed a deep understanding of the human body: anatomy, physiology and the effects of different sport trainings which led to a two year research project studying the use of yoga postures for students of different ages, fitness levels and general health conditions.
