Robbie is a native Queenslander, growing up on the Sunshine Coast where he began his dance career. He trained extensively with Rhonda Binnie at The Ritz Performing Arts Centre in Brisbane (particularly in Tap Dance) before accepting a place at the Queensland Ballet Professional Year. His theatre credits include: Irv in Devil Wears Prada (Theatre Royal, Plymouth) Society Max (U/S Nicely Nicely & Benny Southstreet) Guys & Dolls, (Bridge Theatre, West End) Mary Poppins (Prince Edward Theatre, West End) Sound of Music (Estonia) Anything Goes (Barbican, West End) White Christmas (Dominion Theatre, West End & Leicester Curve) Cats (Kilworth House) Guys and Dolls (Theatre Marigny, Paris) Flashdance (UK Tour) Chess (London Coliseum, West End) Johann Strauss Gala (UK Tour) Cats (International Tour) His ballet credits include: Associate Artist with “Australasian Dance Collective”, Queensland Ballet; corps de ballet with Queensland Ballet and with the Paris Opera Ballet (2009 Australian Tour) with Queensland Ballet: Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Little Mermaid, Nutcracker, Carmen, Fonteyn Remembered, Romeo & Juliet & several contemporary works. He has also danced for Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line & Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. He also competed on the Australian version of “So You Think You Can Dance” Robbie is a choreographer and teacher and continues to coach and create at the following colleges in the United Kingdom; Laine Theatre Arts, Arts Educational, Bird College, Performers College & Addict Dance Academy. He is the founder of “INDUSTRY JAZZ” and teaches his choreography to students across the globe; teaching thousands of dancers a year at his weekly class at Pineapple Dance Studios in Covent Garden, London.
